The Vorwerk is a rare fowl with striking black and gold plumage. They are very hardy, adaptable birds with economical appetites! The Vorwerk is classed as a light breed, a dual purpose bird used both for meat and egg production. They are alert and active but are not seen as flighty in anyway.
